Do you like a picture book?

In korea, Many people believe that only children read a picture books.

Of a illustrate book or a tail book which is known to us, there are many kind of book targeting not children but for adult.

Some time original a book have a target for the children, but many other adult not children have a interested in it.

On the other hand ,originally it has a target for the adult, but the childern have interested in it more than them.

Today I will introduce a picture books of 'Baek hi na' to you. children and also adults have a preference to her literature.

 

1. 구름빵(Cloud Bread)

<구름빵> is a famous picture book in korea.

It is very popular enough to be producted at tv animation and musical.

As writer thinks vagariously, seeing low cloud, that 'how i can a bread with these low cloud?', this book's story begins.

In actual work, the story begins with hong bi gets up , goes outside and brings mom fleecy clouds hanging from a branch.

With a cloud that kid gives to her, warm-hearted mom cook a delicious food for family, and lovely child worry their father who doesn't have a breakfast, so they bring it to him.

He is always tired but he works hard for his family. everybody eats cloud bread and floats up in the air. this picture-book expressed lovelily things that they could happen in fairy tales

This book gives chance to reader to think about their family and what is real imgaes of family?

Mom baking a break, warm-hearted father, elder sisters, child of author, husband, the kitchen of a parents home, All these precious memory are well mixed into <구름빵>, so I recommend this to you to eat some.

 

2. 달 샤베트 (Moon sorbet)

One summer night when can feel terribly hot temperature, Author worried about earth that heating more and more. So She write this book.

Author thinks the moon may be melt in soon. Eventually, she imagine such a question 'if the moon was melt really, then what happened to our?' So she writes down this story.

One day in a extremely hot summer night, the moon melt down. So diligent prefect grandma gathers all water of melt moon and saves it at cold storage. However, at that night, blackout is coming to town, so darkness is coming too. neighborhood who don't know who are living near their home get out and eat together 달샤베트 that prefect grandma divides into town, after that, they back to the home, and get a good sleep with opening windows, enjoying the dream.

Even though living together in a town, people block themselves from others. and they forget we live in a world where we should live together.

We may live more better if eat some 달 샤베트.

This summer maybe hot as one that lasted, but I hope our soul is not hard-hearted as summer.
