Sunlight whispering to rock-wall

Spring comes here, although it's cold.
The spring flowers are blooming here and there.

I'm introducing a Korean poem about Spring with today's photograghs.
Kim young-lang(male) is a famous poet in Korea.
His works are very soft and feminine.( Again, he is a male)
I hope that his feelings will be expressed well through translation.

 

 

 Sunlight whispering to rock-wall.

돌담에 속삭이는 햇발

Like the sunlight that whisper to rock-wall,

Like the spring that smiles under the water,

Silently on the spring road, my heart

Look at the sky all day today.

 

돌담에 속삭이는 햇발같이

물아래 웃음짓는 샘물같이

내 마음 고요히 고운 봄 길 위에

오늘 하루 하늘을 우러르고 싶다

 

 

 

 

Like blush that smear ( or, appear) on the face of a bride.

Like waves that soaks breasts ( or heart ) of poet.

That soft and tender Emerald lightly flowing,

Want to look at soft silky sky.

 

 

새악시 볼에 떠오는 부끄럼같이

시의 가슴을 살포시 젖는 물결같이

보드레한 에메랄드 얇게 흐르는

실비단 하늘을 바라보고 싶다
