International Peace Walk held by IPYG

 It was last year. I heard there was a huge peace event in Olympic Park on May 25^th in Seoul. Being curiosity, I visited there. Looking around here and there, one of volunteers gave us the T-shirts which were the slogan saying ‘Let the youth in the world be one and make the world peace and cease war.’ written on them.

 There is a saying “There never was a good war or a bad peace.”

When I think of the word “a war”, I cannot feel how serious or how tragic it is because I haven’t experienced it. However, I know it could happen in the future and I am afraid of it. Why? That’s because the place where I live in is only a divided county in the world. And I also know that we as the young must join the army to fight for the nation; Actually, I don’t think it is for the “nation”, but the “leaders”. In this point, I would say that this event is a silent struggle.

 Looking at the youth, I feel the claim for peace inside their mind is hotter than the weather there. Not only Korean, but the young from the other countries were taking part in the event with having same mind of peace.  

 The Peace Walk started after some announcements were done. The performances on the way to the goal were interesting. I wish I could take more pictures of them. Also, I felt like to bring my friends to the meaningful event.

 Surprisingly, I heard the commemoration of peace walk was held this year in the same day of that day last year and I saw there were lots of successive results the group had made. The branches of IPYG became so many and they did the same event in the different areas around the world.

 The wishes of peace are gathered, and people act for peace, then I think not only the unification of South, and North Korean but the world peace can come true.

If you are interested in Peace or NGO groups, you might heard of IPYG. Someone got suspicious of it because it is a new organization.

What is IPYG and how was started?

IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) is a youth organization working for world peace and uniting all international youth. It’s formed from some groups of youth coming together with same idea of peace. They thought people should be able to understand across cultures, languages, borders and nationalities. It began with one of Korea’s largest volunteer group called MIYC and many groups had joined and became IPYG as now.

Why does it want the youth to be united?  

The youth are so powerful and energetic so they can do anything when they gather and make decisions together. Let’s assume that they all refuse to fight against one another. What would happen? Unless they want war all together, the war will be end. That’s why this group believe young people are so important to finish war.

What does it do?

It has made a partnership more than 130 different groups from 80 countries around the world. And it has meetings sharing ideas, and it holds Peace Walk in many places here and there to show the world that we love peace and need no more war.

with the children and went to the Olympic Park. 

But many young people do not either? 

Tens of thousands of young people 

from foreign youth gathered.

This does not end the war in the Olympic Park, Seoul, Republic of Korea have peace earnest in 130 countries around the world for world peace, the independence of the 20,000 young people gathered for the Walk for Peace site accidentally see. International Youth Group is for peace helix.

Korea is a state of cease-fire ... 

This can happen at any time of war and in the Civil War tensions on the Korean Peninsula peace march in the air teleportation can really take a significant overjoyed scene. 

Convenience to our lives, 

but nuclear weapons will be used, if so scary.

I hope our generation appear. 

Unplug the annual Nobel Peace Prize winner has failed to achieve peace in the world, but. 

Why would one person achieve world peace? 

So when the World Youth 

Peace will come quickly in unison Would not this?
